MESSAGE FROM THE VICE CHANCELLOR

Message from the Vice Chancellor

You are all one of the priviledged few to be admitted into this great University named after the Rt. Hon Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe (Owelle of Onitsha).

Here in UNIZIK we are committed to nurturing youths who are worthy both in knowledge and character. The University is richly endowed with human and material resources for your academic pursuit. You are encouraged to tap them fully. There is no place for any form of cheating or cultism in UNIZIK.

True to our motto "Discipline, Self-Reliance and Excellence" we only issue our degrees to students who after their stay here, are found worthy in character and learning, I therefore call on you to shun all vices such as:
Prof. Boniface Egboka
Cultism
Examination Malpractices, i.e. copying, sorting, impersonation etc
Promiscuity
Rape
Stealing
Fighting
Bullying etc
Any of these will show you the way out of the University.

will not stop without warning you that money, status, parental background, godfatherism, or the likes cannot buy you the degree of UNIZIK. It is a highly prized and precious degree, and it is only obtained by the 3Hs and 3Ds namely:
Hardwork
Dedication
Honesty
Dilligence
Humility
Discipline
Welcome and may God see you through.

Prof. Boniface Egboka, FNAH
Vice Chancellor
